Love is patient they say! Just like our couples! What a tough time this wedding season has been for each and every one of them. Robyn and Dan, like many couples across the UK have had their pre-wedding engagement shoot on pause due to coronavirus. So with lockdown restrictions lifted, risk assessing started!

Lots of things came into our heads as to how we were going to apply the regulations and law around social distancing. Working with long lenses and drones were at the fore front of our minds. We made the call to Robyn and Dan and couldn't believe our luck when these guys told us that they lived on an epic! 90 acres of land which boasts a river, woods a pond and rolling fields that stretched as far as the eye could see. With this in mind we knew this pre wedding engagement shoot was going to be a success, by keeping us all safe whilst working within the strict government social distancing guidelines. We seized the moment, hooked up with these guys and had some fun. We look forward to happier times ahead when their big day arrives!

As the engagement shoot got under way our gorgeous couple chatted about the plans they had for their wedding day. As we socially distanced with our 2 meter walk we made our way towards the beautiful woods. From tender moments, to laughter, fun and giggles they were totally relaxed, quickly forgetting there was a drone and a camera following them which enabled us to capture these stunning photographs. Working in some interesting light, beautiful backdrops to choose from and lovely compositions we just loved hanging out with these guys.

Our adventure with these guys had just begun when Vixen their pooch made an appearance and wanted in on the action. Vixen kept us entertained as she wondered aimlessly throughout the grounds which is the home she has grown up in. Congratulations on your engagement guys, we look forward to being your wedding photographers and sharing your love story for a little bit longer x x x
